Since march
2007 she is the principal investigator of Mass
Spectrometry & Proteomics Lab. She received her PhD in Environmental and Industrial Biotechnologies at the
University of Verona, in 2005. PhD thesis: "Comparative
proteomics analysis: innovative approaches and biomedical applications" (supervisor:
Prof. PG Righetti).
Daniela Cecconi is coordinator of different proteomic projects (concerning
the analysis of biomedical, as well as of agri-food samples).
One of the main research activity in which she is involved is the

This research is active in the laboratory since 2003 (thanks to
the
collaboration with research groups of Medicine, mainly Prof. Scarpa and

proteomic
analysis of pancreatic cancer stem cells, which also involved the NIHR

(Prof.
Costello).
Since 2013 Dr. Cecconi is also involved as Expert member for Italy in the COST
