IRIS LAB @ UNIVR
IRIS LAB @ UNIVR
The IRIS Lab is dedicated to spectroscopy, microspectroscopy and imaging in the near and mid-infrared.
The Lab equipment includes:
• Bruker Optics Vertex 70 FTIR spectrometer (spectral resolution down to 0.5 cm-1); sources, beamsplitters and detectors for the near infrared (InGaAs) and for the mid-infrared (DTGS and photovoltaic MCT)
• Bruker Optics Hyperion 3000 microscope with detectors for the near (InSb) and mid-infrared (photoconductive MCT) and with a mid-infrared 64 x 64 pixel MCT Focal Plane Array detector (3 micron x 3 micron nominal spatial resolution on the sample). The microscope is equipped with a digital color video camera, a 15 X and a 36 X objectives for transmission and reflectance measurements and a 20 X Germanium ATR crystal objective for ATR measurements. The remotely controlled stage is xyz motorized
• Silver Alide optical fibers efficient in the spectral range 3500-600 cm-1 with reflectance tip, their adapter to the VERTEX 70 spectrometer and MCT photovoltaic detector
