Linear Invariants for poset representations

Abstract: Recent results in topological data analysis motivate the study of linear invariants for representations of some poset P. Linear invariants are additive functions which are constant on isoclasses of P-modules. In this talk, I will dicuss several examples of such invariants that can be obtained from order embeddings. This is a report on joint work with Claire Amiot and Eric Hanson.
