The endomorphism algebras of n-term silting complexes
Abstract:
We consider endomorphism algebras of n-term silting complexes in derived categories
of hereditary finite dimensional algebras and show that the endomorphism algebra
has a separated n-section.

Hyperpolygon spaces, moduli spaces of parabolic Higgs bundles and quiver varieties

Abstract: In this informal talk I will describe two families of moduli spaces, the polygons and hyperpolygons spaces, and see how these are in fact the Kahler and hyperKahler quiver varieties associated to the so-called star-shaped quiver. In collaboration with Leonor Godinho, we showed that this spaces are symplectomophic to the moduli space of parabolic and parabolic Higgs bundles. I will then give an overview on known results and current lines of research.
